"In April, we found that I have Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. There were ZERO signs of it in February. I had a CT scan to look for an abdominal tear and instead, we found cancer. Lots of cancer. Interestingly, the IV iron supplements have lessened the intensity of my constant migraine."

  1. Wow, I'm so glad to hear that they were able to catch your cancer diagnosis during the CT scan, . How have you been coping with treatment? I can imagine it's quite stressful and draining.

It's also interesting that your IV iron supplements have been helping your migraines! I wonder if you have had a history of being anemic? In any event, it must be nice to get a relief from the head pain. Thanks for sharing what's been helping.

  2. oh the pain is still there, just not as intense at times. I don’t have a history of anemia, or of any deficiency other than sodium on occasion.

  3. Ah, I see. Hopefully you will continue to find other things that work for you. Do you use any additional complimentary approaches? I've recently been giving a TENS unit a try for shoulder stiffness. I like it a lot, and it allows me to function just a bit more each day. Curious if you've tried anything like it. - Cody (Team Member)

  4. I stopped absolutely all migraine treatment in 2020. It just didn’t help. I find all treatment, including supplements, to be total scams. There isn’t anything on the market that I haven’t tried. Over 70 medicines. The only trigger I can control is MSG. The only other identifiable trigger for me is changes in barometric pressure.

  5. Hi -- just wanted to let you know that we also have a site for people with lymphoma and other blood cancers, if you're looking for some extra support. The address is www.blood-cancer.com. Regardless, we are all here for you and I'm sending all of my support! Hugs. -Melissa, migraine team
