"Recently diagnosed with Vestibular Ocular Reflex Syndrome.

Neurologist and physical therapist both say it is both a contributing factor to migraine as well as it’s own condition.
.
Started PT to manage it (not considered curable) and take zofran before therapy to mitigate vertigo and nausea.
.
Sharing as it may be something for others to consider in their own journey with migraine.

The causes of VOR impairment vary greatly. At this time my doctors are considering it a complication of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
.
I am scheduled to see an optometrist to rule out any other conditions. The physical therapist thinks I may have some impairment of depth perception as well.
.
It’s all rather exhausting to have yet another condition to manage. I will do my best though.
.
Love to you all and hopes for a low symptom day.

Hoping for myself that the PT helps and that MS is not the underlying cause.
