"Waiting for the next migraine! I do have a question. I'm 66 and for years took Maxalt with pretty good results. Maybe 2 times a years it wouldn't help and I got to see my PCP and get and injection of nubaine & phennergan and that usually did the trick. Now I have an irregular heart beat and can no longer take the Maxalt. For about 6 months I can smell something that I really can't explain. It's not BO ... it's like a sweet, sour and maybe yeasty smell. It's worse when I have the migraine and on my hangover day. Just bugs me that I can't pinpoint it. Any ideas? I wish it would just go away because it makes the idea of another migraine seem very close. Also I will be doing my 2nd injection of Aimovig next week. I felt that the symptoms were a little less the first 2 weeks but as I'm getting closer to the injection the migraines have increase and the pain along with it. I'm still hopeful though."
