"Hi, I am glad I found this site! I was in a car accident 3 years ago and suffered a Tramatic Brain Injury with bleeding in the left side of my brain and I have had migraines ever since. I have had a difficult time since the accident to have anyone take me seriously. I thank God that my brain injury did not put me in a coma or cause other major problems but it seems like people seem to think since I look ok I must not be having any issues. I coud not get any help. I asked to go to a neurologist after the accident and my primary care Dr told me no. I got another Dr who told me to take Ibuprofin. I finally decided I was dying of cancer and begged for help. The Dr ordered a MRI and said I was fine. I cried and got another Dr. I never thought it could be migraine I just thought I was dying a slow death. Finally 4 months ago I got a new Dr who sent me to a neurologist who told me I had migraine and now I am trying to learn what exactly this means so I thank God he lead me to this website!!!"
