"I have lived in chronic pain for 8 months now after a car accident and deployment of an airbag. I was the crash test dummy. The airbag saved my life, but there are days when I wish it didn’t. I go wake up with a level 9 headache and go to bed with s level 9 headache. I have been to some of the worst Drs on the planet. UCSF list my constrast MRI and I’ve been to Marin General 9 times, each time they accuse me of wanted pain meds. I FINALLY found a Doc who would listen and he put me on Ajovy. I was a pharm rep and know all the Rxs and understand medicine. After 2 injections the only thing Ajovy has done is make me cry more often. Honestly, the only Rx that helped was Tramodol. I only took 3 a day but was able to function! Work, be nice to people without wanting to choke them. But of course, my then Doc would not give me s refill as he was sure I would’ve ome addicted. Are we as a world aware of the number of human beings ghost are killing themselves because of the pain we endure each day and thus are being denied proper pain control? But because of people who have abused pain meds in the past, Docs who over prescribed and greedy pharmaceutical corporations we suffer. Feel free to comment.
