"I've been taking Aimovig injections (once monthly) for the past year. Wow! It has cut my migraines and headaches by more than half. I was experiencing 12-15 migraines, and also about a dozen headaches a month, and I couldn't count all the "primary stabbing headaches!" . I've gone through the whole list of suggested preventive drugs in the past .. antidepressants, anti-this, anti-that, I've done them all. I even did Botox for several months (which cut down on the stabbing headaches but not much help with the migraines). But since I've been on Aimovig, I'm down to 6-8 migraines and maybe 8 regular headaches a month. It also cut down on the stabbing headaches. I am grateful. Also when I get a migraine, I'm only taking 50mg of sumatriptan! Just wanted to share this with you all."
