Tara O'Connor

My name is Tara and I am 24 years old. I have been living with migraines for 10 years now. I have tried multiple different medications and treatments and have finally found what works best for me right now.

My migraine journey was pretty difficult because I am allergic to ibuprofen and was limited to what I could take when it came to different medications. I also moderate and contribute for the narcolepsy page for Health union as I also live with narcolepsy type 2. Along with migraines and narcolepsy, I also live with fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome.

I am a volunteer EMT and I am currently in firefighting 1 class to become a firefighter. I am very passionate about raising awareness for all of my health conditions along with many other rare diseases. I am a dog mom and an aunt to three adorable little kids that I adore.
