In the Beginning There Weren't Headaches!

My migraines started with all the symptoms except the headaches.

My initial symptoms

I had visual disturbances and nausea, great fatigue, and a sense of doom. Finally, one doctor looked at me and said "I think you are having migraines." I was incredulous. My Mom had them and I knew them as these horrendous headaches.

Chronic migraine treatment

He started me on Inderal, it helped a lot. Three years later, the headaches began. Now I have chronic migraines. Darn!! I was in my twenties then. I'm 70 now and have a wonderful headache specialist. It took a lot of years to find him. I am so thankful I have!
