My life with constant pain

I am only 18 years old, and I have already dealt with migraines for 14 years. I am a research case at UW Madison and have seen over 20 specialists there. No one knows whats wrong with me. I have a chiari malformation that was operated on almost 2 years ago. Brain surgery was my last hope that I will ever live pain free. I had a 50% chance it would help, and it didn’t. I now face the looming question of how on earth am I supposed to make it through college and successfully make a life for myself? I have been dealing with depression lately because I think it finally hit me I may never be better. All I want is a normal life…. but I may never get it.

I am 18 as well and because of my migraines I couldn’t go to college! I feel your pain and I promise itll get better. I’ve gotten botox twice now and it helps for about the first two months. They give you shots every three months but they wear off the last month. Look into it if you havent already!
