Life Interrupted…

I’ve had migraines since my twenties. I used to have just the pain, but now it’s more vertigo, blurry vision and balance issues. I’m very sensitive to light. My life is more interrupted now. My house has minimal light, I have to wear sunglasses and a hat if I’m out for extended periods. I keep the light in my office and classroom low. I like to dance but if there are blinking lights, I’m done. I’m afraid to make long term plans. My friends and family wonder why I disappear so often and it can be embarrassing. If you don’t have migraines, you usually don’t understand them.

Hi Carolina, thanks for being part of the community and for sharing part of your story.

As you may know, migraineurs can experience aura. We can also experience silent migraine or migraine without pain. We would recommend that you your doctor, if you haven’t already. We’re glad you’re here. – All Best, Donna (Migraine.com team)

I can appreciate your feeling “done”. As one human being to another, I do understand and I do care. Hang on.
