Lifetime of migraines
I've had migraines since I was 8 years old (I'm 51 now) in varying degrees. The most unusual pre-curser I have is "ear worms". I wonder if anyone else experiences this. I get a song stuck in my head before nearly every migraine. I've tried many different remedies for migraines including vitamins, herbal remedies, massage therapy, Botox injections, and acupuncture. The only thing that seems to work for me is medication. I've been a patient of MHNI in Ann Arbor for 6 years. They have me on 3 preventatives that work pretty well. I finally am beginning to have less headaches due to hormone changes. I'm hoping at some point to be able to get off the meds as I get older. MHNI is a wonderful facility and the doctors there are very helpful. I recommend them highly.
