migraine relief

The minute I feel a migraine coming on I take Cambia. EXPENSIVE!!!!! Retail over $500. for 9 packs– you mix in water. I also have phenergan to knock me out if I need to sleep it off. One dose usually works but sometimes I may get a relapse a day or two later. Didn’t really get severe migraines till after menopause. Have tried just about every med–imitrex did nothing, maxalt. My copay is $95. for my med. I asked my neurologist if she wrote for alot of Cambia and she said NO because it’s so expensive.

I just wanted to let you know that Cambia is a brand version of Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-Inflammatory drug. Although Diclofenac does not come in a powder it is available in tablet form and, as a generic, may significantly reduce your costs. Talk to your doctor about the different forms of the generic available and maybe even other medications in the NSAID category, there are quite a few out there that are much more cost effective.
