Teenage Migraines

Hey everyone! My name is Sarah, and I've had migraines ever since 6th grade, headaches ever since kindergarten. My worst migraines started just last year. I have auras, flashing lights, popping in the top of my head. I've missed 9 days of school this SEMESTER already! It sucks! I've taken amitriptyline, Topamax, and Celexa. None of which worked.

My doctors have almost given up on me. MRIs don't show anything either. Migraines have taken away my life and I'm sick of it. I've almost missed finals and it has effected my grades tremendously! Sometimes I can't even talk, and I feel like my life is worthless. I found this website about 10 minutes ago and it's already made me feel better about myself! I like meeting new people that know what I'm going through!
