What am I supposed to do?

   <p>sounds like it&#39;s the same migraine and the medication is just masking the pain. Relpax works for me and I&#39;m also on a blood pressure medication as a preventative. It took a long time to find what worked and they are releasing more and more medications.</p>

      <p>I don&#39;t think I&#39;very tried Relpax. I&#39;miss on Trazodone, Topamax &amp; Pamlor for prevtion. Plus Neurontin &amp; a few others. I&#39;m beginning to think I&#39;m on TOO much medicine!</p>

   <p>Medicines CAN cause rebound headaches. Relpax is in the same family as Maxalt called triptans. Unfortunately, I&#39;m allergic to them. Something we determined after using 4 of the 8 triptans and having a reaction of varying degrees to all of them.</p>

   <p>If you are seeing a regular doctor, you might want to go to a neurologist or a migraine doctor. I prefer a migraine doctor since they are only focuses on migraines and have done extensive study on it. Also, Silver was right, they can cause rebound migraines. Talk to your doc about this and tell him that it isn&#39;t working, it&#39;s making it worse. Also, place ice packs on the back of your neck and on the side of your head that hurts. It will give you some relief.</p>
