  1. Hi soph512,

    Thank you for your question. I wish I had a quick answer for you, but this is something many of us wrestle with. We really don't like to see migraine pain last longer than 72 hours as it can increase our risk of a condition called status migrainous and/or stroke. You can read about this here; https://migraine.com/blog/what-is-emergency/.

    How about a regular sleep schedule and staying hydrated? These are both important for people with migraine disease. Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day is essential to help keep our migraine attacks at bay. These articles has tips and tricks on how to get a good night sleep;

    I hope you are feeling better soon.

    1. Hi, Soph512. I also have chronic migraine and experience migraines for weeks at a time. Usually Ketorolac (which hasn't worked this time for you) rescues me, but not always. Is your neuroligist a headache specialist? If not, I hope you will get one. Also I'm wondering if you have had a recent complete neurological work up and scans to be sure you are not dealing with something new. If not, you may want to consider. Best wishes to getting out of pain soon.
