Chronic Frequent Headache

Hi,

I am having frequent severe headaches (at least 2-3 times a week) generally on one side of the head on one day and on the other side next day. It is diagnosed by doctors as migraine and taking medications for years without any progress. During the headache I usually take zolan (2 tablets) and it helps me to get rid of the severe pain. Also inhaling steam eases the pain a lot. Since steam helps me I doubt it has something to do with sinusitis as well. Is there anyone with similar symptoms and really appreciate if you can explain on the treatments you take and about diagnosis.

Than you..

  1. indikaw,

What kind of healthcare provider are you seeing? The best kind of practitioner to see is a headache specialist. All these people do is work with headache patients. There are many options for treatments, including some new medications. We don’t give medical advice over the internet for your safety. If you can’t see a headache specialist, try to find a neurologist that is trained on the latest treatments.

    Take care,

    1. Hi Peggy,

I consulted several neurologists over last 10 years but it did not help me.

      Thanks,
