Cluster headaches

Hello recently diagnosed with this , anyone here with some good tips?

  1. I'm sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with cluster headaches. Having an accurate diagnosis can be really helpful though in finding the best treatment options for you to best manage them and hopefully get some relief for you.

I've shared some resources below of articles on our site here that you might find helpful with being newly diagnosed and understanding your options.

This first article, "What a New Cluster Headache Patient Needs to Know about Treatments" you might find best to start with...

This article compares the different treatment options for cluster headaches

And this article highlights possible food triggers.

I'm sure others will chime into this conversation and share their firsthand experience, but I wanted to get these resources in your hands in the meantime.

Most of all, I'm happy that you've connected with this community here so you have a place to connect with people who get it and you're reminded that you're not alone in this journey. Please post as often as you'd like, we're here to support you.

    1. Hi there. My heart goes out to you. Cluster headaches are so tough to manage but you are not alone! There is a lot of support out there.

In addition to the great articles Alene sent you, I want to add one more for now, about using oxygen as cluster headache therapy. It is one of the best known ways to manage cluster cycles.
