Why is it that with everything on this and other migraine sites /pages or what ever you want to call them the courts for S.S.D./S.S.I. don't see how hard it is for those of us with migraines??

I know a lots of people that are on S.S.D./S.S.I. I mean there are people that get on S.S.D./S.S.I. FOR HAVING FLAT FEET of all things really?? I don't understand!! are there some kinda lawyer that are the only ones dealing with migraine people and court?? I go through days ,weeks, even month of migraines no one has been able to help me with this. Please can any of you help me? I am in AZ. Does that make any difference?

  1. bet,

I understand your frustration and I am so sorry to hear that you are dealing with such difficulty navigating and finding assistance for migraine. I wanted to share a few articles with you that we have here on the site about social security disability and obtaining assistance for chronic pain, that may be of interest to you as you seek SSI and SSD. Hopefully these resources will be of use to you. I am sending encouragement your way and wish you all the best.

    1. Do you have a lawyer helping you yet? If not I would recommend Scott Davis in Scottsdale, AZ.. He's excellent and got me my SSI within a few months. They handled all the paperwork and don't require any up front payment. Call him at (602) 482-4300. Would be worth a consultation.
