Headache caused directly by the low temperature

I'm writing on behalf of my dad. He is 61. We live in Poland. He suffers from severe headaches since literally decades. The symptoms are quite strange. The pain is caused directly by low temperature. No painkillers work for pain. The only way to get rid of the pain is to heat the head. During sleep cold sensivity highly increases. He sleeps under half-meter layer of blankets and sponges above his head. During the winter no caps can protect him from cold. He can't go outside. His sinus are fine. Computed tomography scan didn't detect anything. No doctor could helped him so I'm looking for help in the internet. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear your dad is having a difficult time. As much as I wish I could tell you what's going on, only a qualified doctor can do that.The internet is great for research, but not safe for self diagnosis.
Temperature changes can trigger a migraine attack. I've heard from people who sleep with a wool hat to help keep their heads warm. Increasing the temperature of the room? A heating pad? Just a few thoughts.
I've been to so many doctors, I've lost count, but I've finally found one (after 20 years) who seems to be helping! Try not to lose hope!
I wish I had a better answer for you, this is a tough one. Hopefully others will be along shortly to share their experiences with you.
