Just wanted to grumble. My grandmother has migraines. My dad has severe migraines. I have them too. My boyfriend just asked "you have a migraine again?" He doesn't understand how I deal with them. My doctor was amazed when I finally told him, because three headache min a week isn't normal.
It got me thinking- I don't recall a point in my life where I didn't have migraines or severe headaches. I would get home from school, call my dad (a nurse), and take some medicine for the headache. I've grown up with this frequent stabbing pain. Sometimes I think people don't believe me when I say I'm having one because I can still function, but that's only because I've dealt with them all my life. I'm only 21 and just now spoke to my doctor because they've increased in frequency.
Surely I'm not the only one who considers migraine pain a part of their normal life?
