Medrol Dose pack question
I called my Nuero office because I’ve been having a non stop migraine for five days now. I told the nurse that I’ve taken a Medrol pack before and it worked in the past. She asked me if I had any left and I said I took them all in the 7 days as per instructions. She sounded shocked like I shouldn’t have taken them like this. She said typically they’re taken as needed. I got my prescription today and the doctors instructions say follow package instructions. What are your experiences with taking this med? I’m confused now.

, I'm sorry you have been in extended migraine pain, I understand how frustrating that is.
I always follow the directions on the bottle and if I have questions, call the doctor, which you did. The nurse's reaction was a bit odd, in my opinion.
When I've taken a steroid dose pack in the past, for migraine and other conditions, I used the entire prescription, per doctor/bottle instructions. Maybe a call to the pharmacist for a bit more clarity is in order?

Don't understand why you were told that. Mefrol dose pac nu it's nature is meant to be completed. Before Aimovig I used to use it a few times a year
