New to daily med and this site
Hi. Recently my migraines have become chronic and unbearable so I made my first trip to a neurologist. A friend told me about this site. What a wealth of information!
My neurologist has started me on verapamil. Anyone have experience/success with this med?

Verapamil didn't work for me, but that doesn't mean it won't for you. We are all so different - it may be "the" drug to work. Something to keep in mind is that it can take up to 90 days at the correct dose before we see a reduction in our migraine frequency and severity when we start new medications. Also during this time potential side effects may lessen.
