Seeking advice from people with similar experiences.

Hi All,

For about the past 5 days I've had an on/off painless but discomforting and noticeable ache on the right side of my head. On top of this I have short bursts of numbness in my cheeks and sometimes chin. I wouldn't say I experience dizziness but definitely perceive a similar but mild 'fuzziness'. My ear has also for the same duration been sore with respect to moving it and I am currently using drops. I have tried Ibuprofen for the dull ache but it seems to have no effect whatsoever. I would also safely say that stress levels this past week could also be higher than average due to last minute moving property. This is my first experience with a headache that has lasted longer than a few hours so any insights or similarly experienced 'symptom sharers' would be much appreciated. I intend to also see my GP to discuss further.

  1. - Glad you shared this experience with us and that you are seeking evaluation from a GP. One-sided head pain/ache is often a symptom of migraine, as can be numbness, dizziness, and ear pain. Stress can be a trigger for migraine. Migraine is a complex neurological condition of which head pain is only one symptom. Some people have migraine without severe head pain.
