Service Animals
Has anyone ever used a service animal for Migraines? And, of course, the other conditions that can come with it such as anxiety and depression.
And if so, did it work for you? Would you recommend it to others?

Thank you for your question! I've not used a therapy dog, but know there are members out there that have. Hopefully they'll be along shortly to share their experiences with you.

Yes, however he was my husband's dog not for Migraines, but a Leader Dog for the Blind. We had Bud, a chocolate lab/pointer mix for 13-14 years. We travel as far south to Florida to Canada and west to San Francisco by trains and air. I suffer with Hemiplegic Migraines and rescued a shepherd mix who wasn't formally trained as a migraine dog but picked it up on his own. I can answer any questions you like to ask in regards to Service Dogs if your thinking about obtaining one.
