Why Prednisone?
Gabapentin isn't working, I told my doctor I wanted to ease off of it and try something else. I left a message at his office and they called back and said he's sending a prescription for prednisone in to my Pharmacy but no explanation. Why would he prescribed Prednisone for migraines?

Gabapentin can be used for migraine prevention, but doesn't work for everyone. Try not to lose hope - there are over 100 medications and supplements that can be used to treat migraine and many of us go through quite a few before we find a combination of medications that work.
