"I have noticed many posters complaining about their docs not listening or reacting or explaining. The number one thing you can do to control your migraines is to find the right doctor. I highly highly recommend a headache specialist preferably at a headache center. My doctor is 3 hrs from my home. I think I might travel twice that far for the care I’m getting. Your doctor works for you, ideally you work together, if your doc is not holding up their end of the deal - move on. I know, it’s terribly difficult to change doctors when you are so sick. It’s worth it. "
