...I have lots of hobbies to keep me busy when i am well. Currently i get migraines 15 days a month...it doesn't leave many days to feel 100%....

...I like that I was seen weekly until things progressed....

...Through all that time, I continued to work as the main income earner for my family.I became unable to keep that up about 2 years ago....

...Embarrassed, I came up with many excuses for what I was doing in my room to keep my nosy and overachieving family from seeing how I lived my life....

...Eventually I learned I had those minutes to get and take Maxalt 10 to keep the pain away....

...This was hard for me as I have an incredible sweet tooth and had recently been successfully dieting....

...Sometimes I hurt, and I can’t see straight, I don’t see what’s there or I see things that aren’t....

...I called headach and spine doctor to see if they had a last min apt....

...We briefly talked about my migraines and I told the nurse starting my IV that I would do whatever it took to keep her in standby whenever I needed...

...So, I would keep going until the pain was excruciating and I would end up vomiting. I was embarrassed and mortified that this happened to me....

...I looked and looked, but I couldn’t see their heads…. only the back halves of them....

...It's taken me this long (3.5 years) to get a line on a really buff pain doc, who I will see in 3 weeks....

...I saw every doctor I could possibly have seen....

...Occasionally, I see the classic scintillating type aura: jagged geometric color-block shapes, or patterns that seem to be flowing like a river....

...This is not enough to keep the pain away but any more and I begin to have rebound headaches....

...I have noticed that these days, the attenuated episodes seem to occur more often when the weather is changing....

...I went back to Las Vegas (where we lived from 1992-2013) for 11 days earlier this month, July 2015, just to see..could I feel better...would I feel, better...

...I guess I'll see on my followup appointment if there's some hidden infection causing all this....

...We'll see. One day at a time, folks....
