Even Doctors Don't Understand

I have suffered since aged 16. In my 30s and 40s, the pain and frequency worsened. I have no aura, so most medications don't work as I don't know if it's a headache or migraine until I've got it. I only take paracetamol. I suffer terribly if I don't treat it in time once the nausea kicks in, to the point I think I'm dying, the pain is so intense. One doctor tried to explain to my late husband that the pain is worse than breaking a leg. My husband never had a headache in his life. However, I decided to get help and went to my GP and explained the issue. The response was, "what do you want me to do about it?"

Feelings of defeated

I was gutted. Eventually, a few years later, I did get a diagnosis but still only have paracetamol. Luckily I don't get them as frequently, but my god, they are horrible. Hours of pain, sickness, sound and light hurts, can't function, diarrhea. Can't even drink water.

That's my story.
