Life Around the Military

I have suffered like everyone else. My husband was in the military and you would think they would give excellent care of my migraines but in the ER they shot me full of narcotics and would send me home. An internal medicine Captain said it was only a headache and made me feel like I need to suck it up and I'm a big girl. Now we are retired and I finally was able to find a migraine specialist and she has been great. I'm on a preventative med and abortive meds when I need them. We are traveling in an RV and my specialist is able to take care even if I'm not even in her state.
