19 yrs and counting :-)

Just found this site. I have been a migraine sufferer since I was 19 (so 19yrs and counting).

At first they were daily but then settled into a cyclical pattern following my hormonal cycle and alternating between mild and completely debilitating for 36 hours.

They always occur on the right side of my head and in my right eye. No aura, just blurred vision during the migraine at first. Now there is a lot of pressure and pain in my right eye during and attack.

In the past year or two, I have noticed an increase in frequency and, for the bad ones, in intensity. The last one I had caused such pain and pressure in my right eye that I kept checking in the mirror to see if it was hemorrhaging.

Thank you for this site! I am learning more about this little-understood condition and will use this as a reference often as I work with my Doctor to seek out treatment!
