Migraines and Fibromyalgia

As a fibromyalgia patient advocate and educator, I work with people who suffer from Migraine disease every day. In fact, up to half of all fibromyalgia patients are also Migraineurs. In addition, one of my closest friends has lived with Migraines her whole life. I've seen the pain etched on the face of someone in the midst of a Migraine attack. I've seen how debilitating Migraines can be and how much they disrupt lives.

So, although I'm not a Migraine patient myself, I have a great interest in continuing to learn all I can about Migraine disease and how to help those who suffer with it. While I don't pretend to know what it feels like to have a Migraine, as a fibromyalgia patient, I do understand what it's like to live with debilitating pain every day.

I'm very glad to have found this site both for my own education and so I can share it with the Migraineurs I work with. God bless you in your efforts to help.
