Pain Goes On & On & On

I have suffered from migraines for several decades now. Since my wife is also a victim of them, it made the diagnosis somewhat easier. We happen to mirror a number of our health issues.

Migraine and marriage

We both have fibromyalgia as our other dominant issue. We have weather as our primary trigger. We can be miles away from each other and upon review had our migraines move in within minutes of each other. This is the case, probably 85% of the time. In terms of other triggers: white wine, rather than red. Although we both love the flavour, our fibromyalgia does not take kindly to alcohol. Therefore we go months without a drink.

Medical marijuana

Regarding MJ, I have some experience there. I bought from illegal pop-up shops and was concerned that I had no info re: quality and contaminants. Lately, I have switched to medical MJ. It was easy enough to do a video conference on my phone and have my script sent to my preferred supplier- Hexo. My preference was a CBD dominant oil with a trace of THC. I didn’t want to bounce off the walls. So far so good. It has helped both migraines and fibromyalgia. I will continue to fine-tune as I go along. It has not eliminated the problems, but it helps and medical MJ is tax-deductible.

I hope this helps some of my friends. I have tried Maxalt and others, but feel I am putting out a fire. Botox has helped the migraines. One round gave me total relief for 8 months.
