Topamax and migraines

I was having severe headaches almost everyday of the month. My neurologist put me on a Low dose of Topamax to take nightly which also helped with my insomnia it did help with my migraines for about two months I was headache free. That lasted about two months and my migraines returned so he upped my dosage of Topamax to 50 mg at night time which has worked for about two months my migraines have now returned and are to the point I'm ready to knock my head off they hurt so bad. I am waiting on doctors office to open this morning to find a way to get myself off of Topamax and figure out a new route of migraine medication any recommendations
