Ongoing Pain

I have had migraines since I was a preteen. I would frequently tell the doctors, especially my GYN that my migraines were worse when periods happened. I was always told they had nothing to do with each other. So frustrating.

Working with migraine

Skip forward, still have migraines even after a hysterectomy. The place I worked at had a program that if your doctor filled out forms yearly for a medical condition, ie: migraines if you call in work it did not count as an unexcused absence, this saved me a lot since a lot of my job is on the computer. I worked there for 17 years. Now I work somewhere else and they do not have that program and it is really hard as I am on the computer for 8 hours a day, five days a week. I have already missed 2 days in 4 months and after 4 I get a write-up.

Vision issues

I was just told by my eye doctor that I have cataracts, so if I can get those removed I might not need glasses all the time but will still need them for reading. Anything that can help prevent and/or reduce migraines would be great. Due to medical reasons, I can not take most migraine relief meds but I can use a few. Would like to take fewer drugs.
