Change in shape of aura
So I recently had a migraine that, as usual, was preceded by an aura in my eye that always is there when I get migraines. Except this one was differently shaped, instead of it being its usual shape of a backwards C, it turned into this long stretched out aura that I don’t think I’ve experienced before, it was followed by a very painful migraine. I wanted to ask here if anyone has had this happen where your aura changes shape or does something different you’re not used to and if you guys know what it could be a sign of?
Thank you for sharing your concerns and experiences with us. While it's not uncommon for our migraine attack patterns and/or symptoms to change over time, it's a good idea to let the doctor know so he/she can make sure everything checks out OK.
