Does anyone recommend a good disability lawyer?

I had a lawyer that took my case all the way to federal appeal and then dropped me. I was hoping for a suggestion on a good replacement since I have to start over.

  1. Hi rlc25e,

I'm so sorry to hear that. This organization, Allsup may be helpful. Here is the link; https://www.allsup.com/.

You may be interested in SSDI section of our website you can find here; https://migraine.com/migraine-basics/social-security-disability-insurance-benefits/.

    I hope that helps!

    1. I would also google for your local state bar association. Often times they will have a free lawyer referral service and you can specifically ask for an attorney who specializes in disability.
Also, if you qualify, you may be able to get free representation from the closest city's legal aid clinic. I believe you have to have a yearly income below the federal poverty line to qualify, but I'm not 100% sure. It might differ state to state. Good luck!
