First Migraine, Are You Forever Cursed?
Once you get the first migraine, are you forever cursed? I just had the first migraine at age 19, just 3-4 days ago and im worried because now that I got it for the first time, they will give me hell forever, could this have been avoided? Right now I feel good, no pulsating pain but i can still kinda feel its there.

Unfortunately, there is no way to predict how migraine may continue to manifest for you or not. Some people do not have regular symptoms after the first episode and others do. If you have not yet discussed this first episode with a doctor, I would encourage you to do so. Not everyone will have chronic migraines. My mother only gets them when she is very stressed out. I really hope you do not get migraines frequently. Hopefully you have been doing well since this post. Amanda (migraine.com team member)
