Haldol
Has anyone ever heard of an ER giving Haldol as an abortive medication?

Thank you for your question. Yes, I've heard of generic haloperidol, brand name Halol for acute migraine treatment. In fact, I found a 2006 study I can share with you; http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16643581.

They just gave it to me at the ER and it didn't work. After about two hours, they gave me Dilauded. That made me better and out the dorr I went.
