HALLOUMI and migraines?

Hi All

If I eat normal cheese (cheddar, blue, stilton, etc, aged cheeses) I get a migraine with an Aura.

I don't with Paneer as that is a fresh cheese.

Has anyone trief Halloumi? Does that trigger/cause a migraine?

  1. Hi @CommunityMember344, while you're waiting for feedback from the community, I thought I would share that your results with Haloumi may very. The ingredient that seems to trigger migraine, tyrosine, is found in higher levels in cheeses that are aged. Haloumi is salt cured and can be eaten within 3 days of making. But some Haloumi is aged for longer. The packaging should indicate how long it has been aged. - Warmly, Donna (team member)
