Anybody Taking Lorezepam For Headaches? It’s The Only Thing That Works For Me!

  1. Thank you for your question. I've not taken this medication in any capacity and don't have any personal experience to offer. I'm sure others will be along shortly to share theirs.

    1. - Thank you so much for the question. I have not personally taken that medication for migraine but I wanted to send you a link to our resources on that topic. This will send you to a list of all of our articles, stories, and forums that make mention of Lorazepam. Hopefully you may find something there that is informative or resonates with you: https://migraine.com/search?s=lorazepam. Let us know if you have any additional questions. We are here for you and so glad you're with us. Warmly- Holly -migraine.com team.

      1. I, too, have not taken lorazepam, , at all. From what I understand, lorazepam can be written as a prescription as an off-label treatment for migraines. A warning though; it has drug reactions and contraindications with a plentitude of other meds. As Holly states above, there is a link to other articles, stories, and forums on our site that mention lorazepam. Can you give us a little bit of a view into your journey managing migraines? Warmly - Rebecca (community moderator)

        1. Hi! I just wanted to check in with you because I'm so curious to learn more about your headaches and the connection with lorazepam. Do you have migraine disease? I know that lorazepam can be used in the treatment of seizure disorders, which of course has a neurologic origin like migraines do. Do you have other symptoms besides pain with your headaches, and are they also helped with lorazepam if so? Grateful for anything you can share -- it's always useful when we can learn from one another. Take care! -Melissa, migraine.com team
