Has anyone tried Vyepti infusions, and if so,what has been your experience? Also wondering about Qulipta ? I feel like I have tried everything and these 2 newer medications have been suggested. I have had chronic migraines for 30 years, getting worse the older I get:/
Appreciate any comments! Thanks!

I have tried both the Vyepti infusion and quilipta. Quilipta’s big drawback for me is constipation. I was told 66% of the people who take quilipta have this problem. I certainly did, and you had to take it every day.
I get an infusion of Vyepti 100mg once a month. It cuts the intensity of chronic migraine and sometimes the frequency as well. I am a super sensitive person and I usually feel very tired and need to rest for a day. So I schedule mine on Saturdays. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the update! Good days are to be cherished, if I could learn not to overdo on those days....

Thank you! My prescription is every 3vmonths...I wonder if it would las that long? It sounds like you get monthly infusions so 3 months seems like it could wear off for me?
Have you found anything that works well??

I have been on emgality, aimovig, qulipta, and now Ajovy. All of them seem to work well the first month and decrease in effectiveness there after. Recently my migraines have intensified, and are back to daily episodes. Does anyone think vyepti is worth trying at this point?

As to your experience with the fading efficacy of the CGRPs you've already tried, we've heard other members report this experience somewhat. Everyone is so different, but I've definitely heard it reported. Sometimes I feel that migraine has a mind of its own- like a mouse in a maze looking for cheese. No matter what barrier we place in its way, it eventually finds its way around the effective treatments, and makes its way back to wreaking havoc with attacks again and again.
Let us know if you decide to pursue Vyepti. We'd love to hear how it works for you. I know my doctors' office is not yet offering it due to still being in partial COVID mode they aren't doing infusions yet. I'd love to hear how it goes for you.
Thanks for sharing and so glad you're a part of our community. Warmly- Holly -migraine.com team.
