For most of my life I didn't think I had migraines because the pain was so bad that my whole head hurt. After I was diagnosed I really started paying attention and realized that at least some of the time the pain was on one side. I could have started the right treatments so much sooner if I had known then what I know now.

    Don't beat yourself up about this! Hindsight is always 20-20! Educating ourselves on migraine disease is one of the best things we can do for ourselves.
