Hello. I was diagnosed by a neurologist with "migraine variance." The worst of my symptoms include loss of motor function and impaired speech and cognitive function. An MRI and CAT scans prove that no other system is malfunctioning. I do not experience a headache or any other significant pain with a migraine episode. I do loose the ability to move one or both sides of my body. This loss of control can be in my upper region or throughout my upper and lower limbs.During a "severe episode" I will also experience aphasia and be unable to speak comprehensibly. I have many other symptoms which include, numbness, tingling, ringing in the ear, eyes strain, light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, and cognitive processing disturbance.
Does this sound like migraine?
