Migraines and Spina Bifida Occulta
Has anyone heard about migraines being caused by Spina Bifida Occulta?
Trying to find information and can't...
I would think there'd be some correlation between the two, especially since the spinal cord is involved and the vertebrae...
I have golf ball sized holes in my bottom three vertebrae...

Thank you for your question and being part of the Migraine.com discussion forum - we're glad you're here.
I've not heard of any connection, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible. It could be problems in that area could trigger a migraine attack, but isn't the cause of them. We aren't exactly sure of the cause of migraine, but do know it's a genetic neurological disorder. When we encounter certain triggers, an attack can occur.
