Does anyone else with migraine get morning sickness - especially when they wake up early in the morning? I am not pregnant and have been getting this for years. Hope it's a migraine thing and not anything more sinister...

Hi 42xsammi,
Thank you for your question. I've not experienced this, but hopefully others who have will be along shortly to share their story with you.
Have you had an opportunity to speak with the doctor about this? If not, I would encourage you to do so as that's the only way to really find out what is going on.
Please keep me posted,
Nancy

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your reply - I haven't spoken to the doctor about this as I fear they will just tell me I'm pregnant (which I'm DEFINATELY not!) maybe I'll mention it in my next neurology appointment and see what he has to say about it.
Many thanks and have a wonderful new year.

I am glad I am not the only one! I mean, I am sorry you experience them at all.
Migraines tend to awaken me out of a sound sleep, often vomiting/dry heaving two or three times. Some days I can go about my day as if nothing happened , and others, ...please just put me out of my misery!
I take ginger root in capsule form every night before bed. It is not 100 percent effective, but enough that I can get out and enjoy life to a certain extent.

Hi GodsDaughter,
Thank you so much for the answer - I have the same (waking up with sickness) and it's horrible! I'm so sorry that you also experience this.
I just don't understand it! How can we wake up vomiting and then just be absolutely fine afterwards - it's so confusing!
I'll try ginger roots and see if that helps! Thank you!
