I used acupuncture and it helped but it was not covered by insurance did forefinger not pay,
There is a spot on your hand between thumb and forefinger. Feel around you will notice the tender spot. It is a trigger point. Do a search and find the points you may want. It helps.

I've had some success with acupuncture for migraine- the best luck I've had is when the acupuncturist places the needles on my occipital ridge. It's not for the faint of heart though- my pain tends to get worse during and immediately after the treatment. It takes a day or so before I start to notice improvement. Prices vary, and while I'm not sure how it works in Canada sometimes in the US insurance will cover it.
