Has anyone here had any kind of experience with the med Seroquel? I was put on Topamax again (long story in the Topamax thread), and it actually is working very well this time. 😀
I am wondering though if it might be attributed to being combined with my other meds. I started taking Seroquel for insomnia right about the time the Topamax started working well. It occurs to me that although I am taking Seroquel for insomnia, it is actually a bi-polar medication. Another well known migraine preventative, Depakote, is also a bi-polar medication. Since most of the off label meds are in groups such as seizure meds and beta-blockers, it makes since that other bi-polar meds might also work. So, has anyone else out there had a good unexpected experience with Seroquel? Or even any other bi-polar medication that is not currently thought of as a typical migraine med?
PS: I also take 2x 750 mg Robaxin every night to prevent occipital migraines
