Hi!
I have a weird question. I am tracking headaches to see if there might be a possible pattern for migraines. My sister has migraines, and I wonder sometimes if I might be starting to have them.
One thing I have noticed before at least some headaches is a sore/achy tongue. It aches a bit right now, in fact, and I am having some ringing in the ears. Let me clarify, though, that these symptoms are also part of anemia and hypothyroid, both of which I was diagnosed a few years ago and for which I take meds, so I'm not sure if the symptoms could be connected with anemia/hypothyroid or migraines.
I had a period of several weeks near the beginning of the year where I had, on average, one headache a week, then a period of several weeks/months with few-to-no headaches, and last month (June), I averaged about one a week. The ones in June changed somewhat in that they seemed to last more than one day and included vomiting (no nausea, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach -- no, I'm not pregnant). They usually start on the top middle left of my head, over the temple, and they can migrate all over my head before they're over. Sometimes one side hurts one day, then that goes away and the other side hurts the next day (like a headache that's OCD, LOL). Usually my scalp where the headache occurs is tender during and afterwards.
I'm mostly wondering if anyone has had the sore/achy tongue along with migraine.
Thanks,
Deana
