So ... horrible sever migraine for 9 days in a row and it refuses to break. Now I have chronic migraines and have been At a pain of 5-8 for months now daily. Normally imitrex nasal spray and zofran works. I was using Ketortolac as. Rescue but since I started PRP therapy I'm not allowed to use NSAIDs.
Went to family doc last week, extra trigger point injections, 3 days of imitrex around the clock (first three days of migraine, worked until drug was out of system) .... added baclofen around the clock ..... nothing - no change at all now.
Doc told me over phone to head to ER, went and got 2.5 litres IV fluid. 2 doses of hydromorph something, dexamastone and zofran. Absolutely no change. ER doctor decided he had nothing more to try and sent me home with Percocet to "sleep it off"
12:30am and been trying to sleep since I got home from ER at 6pm ..... had two doses of 2 pills of Percocet, my dose of baclofen and 2 dropperfuls of 3:1 cannabis CBD:THC oil. Still severe pain that is causing me to shake and muscle spasms.
What do I say to my doctor tomorrow? He is a pain management doctor in a family clinic practise. He does mainly trigger point injections and acupuncture though. I am on vaporic acid and tramadol ER as Preventative right now
