Hi Joleen1996! Thank you so much for your question. I have used tapping, or EFT, to help manage my depression and anxiety and found it to also help to lower my migraine pain. Through tapping, you let go of any negative thoughts, feelings, or perceptions as well as any emotional pain. Through this process of letting go, if I happened to be in the midst of a migraine attack, my pain would decrease. It’s not a permanent fix nor a cure but it is a very helpful form of self-care, much like meditation and deep-breathing are.
